In May 2014 the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data with a provision for Identification of simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies - 8 May 2014 (Published in the Official Gazette n. 126 of 3 June 2014), which websites like this one must abide by.
This Cookie Policy is aimed at providing the user with information relating to cookies and their use and how to intervene to refuse or delete them if desired, bearing in mind that, however, by disabling cookies, some site features may not work correctly as expected.

What are cookies and what are they used for

Cookies are small text strings (files) that the sites visited by the user send to the device (usually to the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites on subsequent visits.
Cookies, in addition to allowing the site to function efficiently and improve its performance, allow us to offer the user a better browsing experience by allowing, for example, to memorize the preferences set (language, currency, etc.).
The use of cookies is therefore aimed at monitoring sessions, performing IT authentications and storing information on specific configurations by users.
Blocking or removing cookies could therefore cause incomplete use of the services provided by the site.

Types of cookies

Cookies are mainly distinguished in:

Technical cookies: they are used to allow navigation according to a series of selected criteria in order to improve the user's service (the choice of language, the products selected for purchase or authentication to access restricted areas).
For these cookies, the prior consent of the user is not required (pursuant to article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code, in the formulation in force following the entry into force of Legislative Decree 69/2012).

Profiling cookies: they are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while surfing the net and are aimed at creating user profiles. The Italian and European information provides that the user must be adequately informed on the use of profiling cookies and express their consent.

Further types of cookies concern the different period of time through which a cookie operates and are divided into:

Session (or transient) cookies: necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site. They are limited to the transmission of session identifiers consisting of random numbers generated by the server, are not stored on the user's computer and disappear when the web browser is closed.

Persistent Cookies: they are stored by the web browser and remain valid until their expiration date unless the user removes them before this date.

Cookies can also be of First part, in the case of cookies created and readable by the site that created them, or by the operator of the site itself, or by Third parts, in the case of cookies deriving from a site other than the one you are visiting which installs them on the latter.

Cookies used on this site

Navigation cookies: they are technical cookies necessary for the functioning of the site. They allow the user's access settings to be recognized without having to enter any data that may have been entered, at each visit to the site.
These cookies can be disabled from the web browser in use. To do this, please refer to the following paragraph "How to disable or remove cookies".

Functional cookies: they are not essential to the functioning of the site but improve the experience and quality of navigation. For example, if items have been added to the shopping cart but the session has been closed before completing the purchase, the next time the site is accessed (and in any case within a limited period), the selected products can be found again.
These cookies can be disabled from the web browser in use. To do this, please refer to the following paragraph "How to disable or remove cookies".

Cookies di Google Analytics: This site uses the Google Analytics service for web traffic analysis provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). In this case, these are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies).
